The Edina Family Center offers high-quality early education programs for families with children from birth through age five. Programs include new baby and me classes, Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), preschool, childcare and parent education.
KIDS Club (grades K-3), WISE Guys (grades 4-5), and SURGE (grades 6-9) provide high-quality, nationally-certified enrichment and care before and after school, on release days and during the summer.
Youth classes and camps for ages 3-18 extend beyond school walls, offering personalized learning opportunities not available during the traditional school day. Drivers education and college preparation courses are also offered through youth classes and camps.
Youth Serving Youth (YSY) at Edina High School provides student leadership opportunities, afterschool activities and oversees the
community service academic letter.
Edina Center for Adult Education engages adults of all ages with extensive lifelong learning opportunities, ranging from cooking, fitness and world language courses, 21st century technology and career exploration, and metro-area field trips and world travel.
Edina partners with Bloomington, Eden Prairie and Richfield to offer AR&LE, Adaptive Recreation and Learning Exchange for adults with disabilities.
Edina’s Community Volunteer Program allows community members to share their time, talents, and passion for learning with Edina students. Volunteers work in all nine schools to offer academic classroom support, after-school homework help, and curriculum-related expert speaker presentations as requested by classroom teachers.
