FROM THE PTO
Centennial Shops is hosting a Holiday Wonderland on Saturday, December 10th and again on Saturday December 17th that will benefit the Edina Family Center. There will be visits with Santa at Pinstripes, reindeer sleigh rides when you bring a Toys for Tots Donation, kids activities, carolers and more! The best part?
Pinstripes will donate 10% of sales during the events on BOTH Saturdays to the Edina Family Center! Come for the free events or stay and have some lunch and bowl some frames. It is sure to be a lot of fun!
The holidays are fast approaching. Many people will be upgrading their electronics or receiving gifts that replace their existing cell phones, laptops, tablets, and digital cameras. It is estimated that less than 10% of all electronics are recycled in the United States. The fact is, most people simply do not know how to properly recycle their used, broken, or old electronics. Instead, they store them or throw them away. Please help the environment and the Edina Family Center at the same time. We receive money for each item we recycle (except chargers and cords). NEW LATE FEE POLICY
Please note:
It is the Edina Family Center's policy to charge $1.00 per minute for every minute you are late in picking up your child. You will receive a fee notice at the time of pickup. The amount will be added to your account and charged on your next tuition payment due date. |

Acceptance- Encourage my strengths and successes. Let me learn by making mistakes. Don't be too hard on me.
Models- I watch everything you do. That's how I learn. Show me what is right.
Feelings- Help me work out my feelings. It's okay to be glad, sad or mad at times.
Understanding- Listen to things I say. Share your day with me. Respect me.
Limits- I need to know some guidelines and rules for my life. Be consistent with what I can and can't do.

NEW FAMILY CENTER DATA BASE:
The Edina Family Center will be changing to our new database effective January 1, 2012. Many of you may already be familiar with this as it is the same data base used for Edina Community Education classes. To make the transition a bit easier, please create your family profile now. This will make registration easier for you in January!
To begin the registration process for the new Edina Family Center data base - please follow these steps:
- Go to edina.thatscommunityed.com
- Click on "Create an Account" in the upper right hand corner
- Fill in your personal information
- Once you have completed this step you will be able to add family members which creates your family profile
- You will now be able to register online for your classes
