2012-2013 School Year Registration
New! The Edina Family Center will be changing to a new online registration system effective January 1, 2012. Many of you are already familiar with this as it is the same registration system used by all Edina Community Education classes. To make the transition easier, please create your family profile in advance - this will make registration even easier for you in January!
How to Register (School Year 2012-2013)
To begin the registration process for the new Edina Family Center online registration system, please follow these steps:
- Go to edina.thatscommunityed.com
- Click on "Create and Account" in the upper right hand corner
- Fill in your personal information
- Once you have completed this step you will be able to add family members which will create your family profile
- You will now be able to register online for your classes

General Registration Information for School Year 2011-2012
- The age of your child as of September 1, 2011 determines your class
for the entire school year and you are registering for a Sept-May class.
- The school year is divided into two semesters. The exact number
of weeks varies depending on the day the classes meet. We will be closed
for many of the District release days for K-12 classes.
- Sibling care is guaranteed until June 15, 2011 when attending an ECFE class.
- You must have your credit card number (Visa/MC) and expiration date
to complete your registration.
- For current participants, we suggest you check your password and
login prior to registration to assure a smooth registration process.
- For one day per week class: First semester tuition and a $25 non refundable
registration fee are due at registration. Second semester tuition will automatically
be charged to your credit card February 2012.
- For multiple day class: May 2012 tuition and a $50 non refundable
registration fee are due at registration. September thru April tuition
will automatically be charged the first week of the month beginning
September 2011.
- For Saturday and evening classes: The course fee and a $10
non refundable registration fee are due at registration.
- Sibling care: First semester tuition and a $25 non refundable registration
fee are due at registration. Second semester tuition will automatically
be charged to your credit card February 2012.
- If you do not have access to a computer, you may come to the Community
Center, door #3 and use one in the Family Center Office.
- You may also download a registration form that can be mailed or
brought in person to our office. Faxes will not be accepted.
- After completing your registration you will be sent an email stating: “Thank
you for submitting your Edina Family Center registration request.” You
will be notified by email concerning your admittance status within
3 working days. Please check your junk email if you do not receive
this email.
Class Cancellation Policy for 2011-2012
- Cancellations must be received in writing or by email by April 29, 2011 to receive a full tuition refund. Registration fees are always
non refundable.
- One day classes: A $50 cancellation fee will be applied beginning
May 2, 2011.
- For Multiple Day classes: May 2012 tuition is non refundable beginning
May 2, 2011.
- Saturday and Evening classes: A $25.00 cancellation fee will be applied
beginning September 1, 2011.
