Student Enrichment

Art Masterpiece and Bravo Music

Parent volunteers staff these two curriculum enrichment programs which are run by the Curriculum Resources & Programs (CRP). CRP trains the parents and provides the materials. The parent volunteers teach the art or music appreciation curriculum to individual classrooms over the course of the year, usually in six or seven presentations. Volunteers are recruited by a PTO coordinator in late spring and early fall.

Math Olympiad

Math Olympiad for Elementary Schools (MOES) is a non-profit, tax-exempt public foundation which provides opportunities for teachers and students to engage in creative problem solving activities throughout the school year. The Olympiad contests focus on important mathematical concepts, strategies for problem solving, creativity, resourcefulness, and ingenuity. Concord team scores are compared with teams nationally. Students are selected for participation in the fall.

This group of students, supervised by staff members, meets monthly before school to plan ways to promote the ICCCAR ethical values (Integrity, Courage, Compassion, Commitment, Appreciation of Diversity, and Responsibility) among all students and staff. They develop school wide assemblies, public address announcements, community service projects, fund raising, and other activities.

Good Day Concord School News Show
