Kindergarten Goals

  • Identify all capital & lower case letters

Kindergarten Philosophy at Cornelia

It is our hope that each student will develop a love of learning and perceive him/herself as a capable, responsible, and valued individual. We wish to provide our students with a variety of learning experiences that are in alignment with quality standards.

The curriculum will be taught through a thematic approach. Skills will be taught in context with a developmentally appropriate manner with an emphasis on applicability to real life situations.

Please Do Not Label The Supplies. (In Kindergarten Supplies Are Shared.)

  • 1 box crayons
  • 2 bottles Elmer's glue
  • 3 glue sticks
  • 4 plain yellow #2 pencils, SHARPENED
  • 1 box Crayola Fat Markers
  • Watercolor paints
  • 2 Expo dry erase markers & eraser
  • 1 bottle Purell Hand Sanitizer
  • 1 or 2 reams of white printer paper
  • Miscellaneous art center supplies: sequins, pompoms, coloring books, stamps, foam pieces, etc....
  • 1 container of sanitizing wipes
  • 1 box Kleenex
  • *$6.00 for portfolio supplies: binder, dividers, and take home folders
