Cornelia School

Cornelia Elementary School is one of six elementary public schools within the Edina School District. It is located in the southeast quadrant of Edina, Minnesota.

The school is situated on a 25-acre site which includes 10 acres maintained by the city as a park containing skating rinks, ball fields, and tennis courts.

All of the Edina Schools are excellent and each has its own individual personality. Cornelia Elementary is a K-5 school with an enrollment about 550 students. We are unique in several ways:

When you enter Cornelia School, you may notice the large display of international flags in the front hallway. These flags reflect the heritage of our student population. Cornelia staff and parents work together to celebrate the many different cultures represented by our students, including: With increased racial and socioeconomic diversity in our school and community, Cornelia Staff is dedicated to understanding our students’ unique needs and modifying classroom instruction to accommodate our changing student population.
