About the Media Center
The mission of Edina High School's Library Media Center is to support the learning process by providing a wide range of resources that will give each student an opportunity to achieve academic success. We assist students, teachers and staff in becoming effective users of information and foster a love of reading and partner with teachers to teach information literacy skills.
There are over 21,000 books in the Library Media Center as well as two full size computer labs and one mini lab. Our staff manages over 450 computers throughout the building as well as classroom lcd projectors and a host of AV equipment. All materials are selected based on curriculum needs as well as on the recommendations of staff and students and professional review sources. The collection includes materials to meet the needs of all learners. The Library Media Center has a computerized card catalog accessible online.
