New Student Information

Enrollment process for Edina High School, grades 10th – 12th

1. New students need to register at the Edina Community Center's Welcome Center

   After a new student has completed the enrollment paperwork at the Welcome Center, the student's records will be requested from their previous school (Step 2). When the records are received, the parent will be contacted to meet with the student's counselor (Step 3).

2. The Guidance Department must receive the following information before an appointment will be made with your counselor. Please do not come to the High School to start classes without an appointment. Parent requests for records will speed up the enrollment process.

   Please make arrangements with the previous district for student records to be faxed or mailed to:

   • Up to date immunization record (must be approved by the health office before an appointment will be made)
   • Transcript from previous school
   • GRAD test scores & MCA’s (MN only)
   • IEP Plan or 504 Plan (if appropriate)
   • MN State ID Number – Minnesota transfers only

3. When the above student information has been received by our office we will contact you to set up an appointment with the appropriate counselor.
