Welcome to our New Website
Edina Public Schools is pleased to release our new website, a complete overhaul, including all nine schools, the district and community education domains. The site features revamped design and navigation, allowing users access to content in fewer clicks. Enhanced multimedia features create a more engaging and interactive experience for the user.
The decision to update the district's website was made over a year and a half ago, based on the need for one centralized website that is easy for students and families to navigate as well as easy for teachers and staff to edit. The current website has grown to over 10,000 pages and 50,000 files, making the site inefficient and difficult to manage. The new website is entirely web-based using a content management system, making content-editing easy and accessible anytime, anywhere.
What's New? Take a Tour:
News and Events: The new District News page provides a dynamic display of news and events happening in Edina Public Schools.
Calendars: All calendars are displayed in a visual, grid format and allows for easy download (instructions coming soon).
Audience Links: Audience links for new families, students, parents, staff and community allow users to access targeted information with one click. Audience links are located on the district home and page and in the header and footer of every page.
School Home Pages: Each school home page includes a bulletin board, quicklinks, and upcoming events to serve as a one-stop shop to access all key information within the site. Each school features its own unique color banner, while maintaining the same layout as all schools for easy browsing from school to school.
Teacher website directory: Teacher websites are anchored to the Edina site with a searchable teacher website directory for quickly finding your teacher's page.
Community Education Website: Easily shift between the District and Community Education, with complimentary designs and navigation. Community Education information is also provided at each school to make it easy to see what is offered at your school.
Search Engine: Google integrated search engine generates powerful searches on the entire site or on individual sites.

During the month of July, you will see ongoing changes and improvements as the site progresses through the conversion. During this time, you may experience slow browsing speeds or encounter errors. Edina Public Schools will closely monitor the site through this process to ensure that the website is running with full capabilities.
