29 Edina High seniors earn National Merit Commended Scholar recognition
These students join 12 of their peers who were recently named Semi-Finalists in respected national program
Edina Public Schools proudly announces that 29 Edina High School seniors are among 34,000 students nationwide being recognized for their exceptional academic talent as National Merit Commended Students. Commended students place among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013 competition.
This week, the following EHS students were named National Merit Commended Scholars:

Each Commended Student will receive a letter of commendation from Edina High School and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) in recognition of their outstanding achievement.
“We continue to have reason to be proud of our students at Edina High School,” said Bruce Locklear, Edina High School Principal. “We congratulate these 29 National Merit Commended Scholars, who, along with their 12 peers previously recognized as National Merit Semi-Finalists, demonstrate the strong tradition of academic excellence we have at Edina High School.”
