School kicks off to a Remarkable Start

Squeaky new shoes and colorful backpacks are gracing the halls of Edina Public Schools this week, marking the opening of the 2012-2013 school year. Today, kindergarteners made their first steps off of the bus and into the school hallways, beginning their journey as the class of 2025. Edina Public Schools is proud to welcome 8,381 students, 50 new staff members, 1,400 returning staff, and a number of Early Child Special Education (ECSE) and Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) participants.
