District Art Standards
Primary
Students will use tools and processes of at least three different media to communicate ideas. They will use the elements of visual art to communicate ideas effectively. They will identify works and styles of art that belong to different cultures and times.
Intermediate
Students will communicate ideas effectively using at least three different media and techniques, and the elements and principles of art. They will associate artwork with various cultures and historical periods. They will describe selected works of art in terms of the elements and principles of visual art.
