Literacy Council
What a great year this has been. You have had opportunities to meet with authors, read new books, and share your love of reading with other students in our school. Now, for some news! The Literacy Council is expanding beyond our current borders. As a member of this group, you will soon have the opportunity to participate in a service learning project, working with an organization called, “Room to Read,” in their “Students Helping Students” program. Literacy Council members will have a voice building libraries for kids with few opportunities. Your continued participation in this group will not only mean doing something you love to do, but also providing opportunities for students in other cities and other countries. Our impact would not only be local, but global! |
