Kindergarten Curriculum

Kindergartners are extremely energetic and curious learners who enjoy movement and thrive on active involvement with people and their environment. They are eager to feel connected to one another, and they work hard at making friends. Many have mastered gross motor skills, and most are gaining control over fine motor skills, as well. Independence, in general, is growing, as is the concurrent need for acceptance and approval. Kindergarten is a time of tremendous growth and challenge. It is the gateway through which a child passes into school life.

During this year of change, kindergartners need to feel secure, loved and accepted in a happy environment.
