National Urban Alliance (NUA)
The National Urban Alliance is focused on learning and teaching. The NUA's network of mentors are highly skilled and exemplary professionals in the field of education; many of whom have doctoral degrees in education. They come from all areas of the country and provide ongoing professional development activities for teachers to improve classroom instruction. NUA mentors are teachers, administrators and university faculty who promote instructional strategies based upon the latest research on concept and cognitive development, reasoning, thinking, and higher-order comprehension skills.
287 Prep Center
The Prep Center is dedicated to serving the needs of educators by providing high level professional training. At the heart of PREP Center is the belief that all educators can come together to create an inter-district learning community to pursue common professional development goals. CEU's available for all classes; Graduate credit available for some classes.
West Metro Education Program (WMEP)
The mission of the West Metro Education Program (WMEP) is to build the collective capacity of its members; to raise the achievement of all students; to eliminate the racial achievement gap; and to prepare all learners to thrive in a diverse world through regional leadership, integrated learning opportunities, shared resources, and mutual support.
Metro ECSU
Metro Educational Cooperative Service is a nonprofit cooperative organization currently serving over 40 school districts and other affiliate members in the seven county metropolitan area of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. High-quality, collaborative programs are available to our members for administrative services, professional development, special education, publications, environmental health and safety, and student programs.
