PTO
Valley View Middle School Parent Teacher Organization supports and promotes academic and extra-curricular activities that enhance student, teacher and staff experiences at Valley View Middle School. VVMS PTO, through membership dues, produces and prints the school directory; sponsors speakers and forums on topics of interest to parents, teachers and staff; provides scholarships for student field trips and activity fees; and purchases equipment and supplies and funds projects and programs that are outside the regular school budget. VVMS PTO also offers parents an opportunity to volunteer and get involved.
VVMS PTO is organized as a Minnesota nonprofit corporation. Membership in VVMS PTO is open to all parents and guardians of students enrolled at Valley View Middle School, and all full- and part-time teachers and staff at Valley View Middle School. Membership meetings are held throughout the school year.
VVMS PTO is funded entirely on membership dues. We ask and encourage all families to support us by paying membership dues. Dues are $25.00 per family for 2010 -2011.

Parents are encouraged to get involved with VVMS PTO. Volunteer opportunities, big and small, are available throughout the year. To volunteer, please contact anyone on the Board of Directors.

Meetings
The Valley View PTO business meetings generally take place on the last Monday of the month in the Valley View Media Center. All parents are invited to attend and participate. Topics and times are announced flyers from school and listed in the headlines on the Valley View Middle School's homepage.
